One of the funniest quirks about Blinn is that she can be on the ground throwing a tantrum because we’re leaving the park, but if you tell her to say goodbye to everything she calms down immediately. “Bye slide. Bye swing. Bye horsey.”
A few weeks ago, we were at Macy’s. I thought I would be a good husband and take the kid for a stroll while Sam shopped around. I took Blinn through the shoe aisles, because she (like her mom) love shoes.
Several minutes later, we finally left the store and started a fast pace through the mall. Half way to the other end, I glanced down and there sitting on Blinn’s lap was a glittering gold shoe from Macy’s.
I took this quick shot on my phone before mall security caught up with us.
She looks guilty, doesn’t she?
(Sam thinks that she has good taste at least.)
I took Blinn to the doctor last Monday and found out that she weighs 30 cans of baked beans.

I took this picture a couple of months ago. Greg and I had always joked about seeing how long Blinn could go without sleeping before she would finally pass out. Some kids fall asleep eating in their highchair, lying on the floor, sitting on the toilet, but Blinn will just keep going and going and going. So after a long, fun weekend with friends from out of town, and no nap that day, Blinn sat on the couch eating crackers and drinking her juice and before I knew it her head was bobbing and she crashed. Hand in the cracker box, crumbs all over her tummy, fast asleep. :)
